Search For Organisations

This area is at the left side of the screen, shown here in red.

Quick Search allows you to search for an organisation quickly and easily by using a keyword, or by using a list of popular searches. It is quick but may produce more concise results.

To make a more concise search, using keywords, location, category or subject, use Advanced Search.

  1. If the Search tab is not the current tab, click on the SEARCH tab title.

  1. In the Keyword(s) section, type a brief phrase that describes what you want to find.

For example, if you want to find a club, type club. This will cause all organisations with the word club in their name or descriptions to be found.

  1. Click Search or press the Enter key to start the search, or click Clear to reset to specify a new search.

The search results will be shown in the main part of the screen, below the Organisations tab. There you can sort the search to suit your needs.

Using Popular Searches

The Popular Searches section contains a list of words and phrases that are used frequently.

The list is populated with the contents of the Popular Basket. The basket can only be edited by a user with sufficient permission. To learn more see Editing Popular Searches.

The search will start immediately and the search results will be shown in the main part of the screen, below the Advanced Search tab.
